Getting Started
Lay everything out before you start. You should have a swab tube, a clear hair sample bag, extra clear bags for supplements, your activation card, and a pre-labeled return envelope.

Getting Started
Your samples read best when your body is in its normal rhythm. First thing in the morning is ideal, before eating, drinking, or brushing your teeth.
If mornings do not work for you, wait at least twenty minutes after eating or brushing. That includes coffee, gum, and mint.
Collect on a normal day for you rather than when you are acutely ill.

Remove wrapper and twist the cap off the tube. Hold the swab by the cap end and keep your fingers away from the swab tip.

Run the swab along the inside of one cheek for about five seconds, then switch and do the same on the other side. Press firmly enough to feel it, gently enough to stay comfortable.
Slide the swab back into the tube and twist the cap until it is firmly closed. Give it a gentle tug to confirm it is sealed.
The tip should look visibly damp, but not dripping, before you seal it.
Hair
Using clean scissors, cut about a teaspoon of dry hair. Anywhere on your body works, and you do not need to cut close to the scalp. Place the hair into the clear sample bag and press it closed along the seal.
Colored hair reads exactly the same, but please avoid hair products (gel, spray, etc) prior to collecting samples.

Supplements
Your kit came with extra sample bags for you to send in supplements to be tested alongside your samples.
Supplements
Each supplement needs its own bag. Put a single capsule, gummy, tablet, or small amount of liquid or powder into each one.
Using the provided stickers labeled "SUPPLEMENT NAME," write the product name clearly on the outside of each bag. Brand plus product name is ideal.
Combined or unlabeled bags cannot be tested, so it is worth double checking both. We also cannot test pharmaceuticals.
Sending It Back
Write your first and last name on the stickers labeled "NAME - HAIR SAMPLE" and "NAME - SALIVA SAMPLE" and place them on the swab and bag.
Collecting for a child or someone else? Use their name, not yours. Name must match health form (next section)
Sending It Back
Place your labeled swab tube, hair sample bag, and any supplement bags into the pre-labeled return envelope, then seal it. Hand it to USPS or drop it in any mailbox.
We will email you the moment it reaches our testing center, and your results will be published in about one week.
